Baked Pumpkin Donuts With Maple Glaze (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed.
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
06 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves.
10 - 3/4 cup pumpkin puree.
11 - 2 large eggs.
12 - 1/2 cup vegetable oil.
13 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
14 - 1 cup powdered sugar.
15 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup.
16 - 1-2 tablespoons milk (as needed).

Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
02 - In a bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
03 - In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
04 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
05 - Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
06 - Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the donuts are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
07 - Let the donuts cool slightly before removing from the pan.
08 - In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk to create the glaze.
09 - Dip each donut into the maple glaze and allow the glaze to set before serving.

Notes:

01 - For a stronger maple flavor, use pure maple syrup in the glaze.
02 - These donuts taste best fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days!.
