Banana Malva (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1 tsp baking soda.
04 - ¼ tsp salt.
05 - ½ cup mashed ripe bananas.
06 - ½ cup milk.
07 - 2 large eggs.
08 - ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted.
09 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
10 - 1 tbsp vinegar.
11 - 1 cup sugar (for sauce).
12 - ½ cup water.
13 - 1 cup cream.
14 - ½ tsp vanilla extract (for sauce).

Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
02 - In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
03 - In another bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and vinegar.
04 - Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
05 - Pour the mixture into the prepared dish.
06 - Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
07 - For the sauce, combine sugar, water, and cream in a saucepan.
08 - Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract.
09 - Pour the warm sauce over the hot pudding and serve.
