Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x9-inch baking tin with grease or parchment paper.

For the cookie layer, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla, and mix. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt, then fold in chocolate chips.
