Chicken Calzone (Print Version)
Ingredients:

16-20 oz pizza dough.

6-7 fully cooked crispy chicken tenders (sliced).

8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese.

1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese.

3/4 cup pizza sauce.

2 tbsp melted butter.

Flour (for rolling dough).
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400°F. If using frozen chicken tenders, cook as directed, slice into strips, and set aside.

Roll pizza dough into a 12-inch circle, about 1/4 inch thick, on a floured surface.

Spread 1/2 cup of pizza sauce over one half of the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Add 1 cup mozzarella, grated parmesan, and sliced chicken tenders on top.

Fold the other half of the dough over the toppings. Pinch edges together to seal and form a half-moon shape.

Place the calzone on a greased baking sheet, baste the top with melted butter, and make three small slits on top to allow steam to escape.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven, spread 1/4 cup pizza sauce and 1/2 cup mozzarella over the top of the calzone. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Let cool for 5-7 minutes, then slice into strips and serve.
