Chicken Parm Sub (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
02 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
03 - 2 large eggs.
04 - 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs.
05 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
06 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese.
07 - 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce.
08 - 4 sub rolls.
09 - 1/4 cup olive oil.
10 - Salt and pepper, to taste.
11 - 1/2 tsp dried oregano.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with a mixture of bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a baking sheet.
03 - Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with dried oregano.
04 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
05 - While chicken is baking, slice sub rolls and lightly toast them if desired.
06 - Place the cooked chicken breasts on the toasted rolls. Spoon additional marinara sauce over the top if desired.
