Chocolate Cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
02 - 2 teaspoons baking powder.
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
04 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar.
05 - 2 tablespoons cocoa powder.
06 - 1/2 cup milk.
07 - 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted.
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
09 - 1/4 cup cocoa powder for topping.
10 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar for topping.
11 - 1/2 cup brown sugar for topping.
12 - 1 1/2 cups hot water.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 8x8 inch baking dish.
02 - Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cocoa. Stir in milk, melted butter and vanilla until smooth. Spread in dish.
03 - Combine second amount of cocoa, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Sprinkle over batter.
04 - Carefully pour hot water over everything. Do not stir.
05 - Bake 40-45 minutes until top is set and pulling from edges. Let cool slightly before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Do not stir after adding water - this creates the gooey bottom layer.
02 - Best served warm with ice cream.
