Praline Chocolate Chip Cookies (Print Version)
Ingredients:

Cookies: 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon salt, 1 cup unsalted butter, softened, 1 cup brown sugar, packed, ½ cup granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 cup chocolate chips, ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional).

Cinnamon Sugar Topping: ¼ cup granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans or walnuts if using.

In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar with cinnamon.
