Cajun Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced thin.
02 - 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning.
03 - 2 tbsp olive oil.
04 - 2 tbsp butter.
05 - 1 cup heavy cream.
06 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese.
07 - 1 tsp garlic powder.
08 - 1 tsp paprika.
09 - Salt & pepper, to taste.
10 - 8 oz penne pasta.
11 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish).

Instructions:

01 - Rub Cajun seasoning on chicken, ensuring an even coat. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high, and cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
02 - Meanwhile, boil penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, and salt & pepper. Stir for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
04 - Toss pasta in the creamy sauce. Slice cooked chicken and place on top.
05 - Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
