Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 8 mozzarella cheese sticks or string cheese.
02 - ½ cup all-purpose flour.
03 - 2 large eggs (beaten).
04 - 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs.
05 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese.
06 - 1 tsp garlic powder.
07 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning.
08 - 1 tsp paprika (optional).
09 - Salt and pepper to taste.
10 - Non-stick cooking spray.

Instructions:

01 - Unwrap cheese sticks and freeze them on a parchment-lined baking sheet for at least 1 hour.
02 - Prepare three bowls: flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and a mixture of Panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper in the third.
03 - Roll each frozen cheese stick in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat in the breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to ensure the breading sticks.
04 - Place the coated cheese sticks back on the sheet and freeze for another 10–30 minutes to secure the breading.
05 - Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray. Arrange the sticks in a single layer and spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
06 - Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
07 - Serve hot with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
