Chicken Meatloaf (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1.5 lbs ground chicken: Adds a lean, tender base for the meatloaf.

03 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese: Adds a savory, cheesy flavor.

05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced: Provides a robust garlic flavor.
06 - 1 egg: Helps bind the meatloaf ingredients.
07 - ¼ cup milk: Adds moisture to the mixture.
08 - 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped: Adds a fresh, herbaceous flavor.
09 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning: Adds a blend of herbs for extra flavor.
10 - Salt and black pepper, to taste: Enhances overall flavor.
11 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish): Adds a fresh, finishing touch.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a loaf pan.
02 - In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, mozzarella, garlic, egg, milk, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
03 - Shape the mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking sheet (or press into the loaf pan).
04 - Bake for 35-40 minutes, until cooked through and firm.
05 - Remove from the oven and sprinkle extra shredded mozzarella on top.
06 - Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
07 - Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sides.
