Halloween Cookies (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter (softened).
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1 cup brown sugar (packed).
04 - 2 large eggs.
05 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
06 - 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
07 - 1 tsp baking soda.
08 - 1/2 tsp salt.
09 - 1 cup chocolate chips.
10 - 1/2 cup Halloween sprinkles.

Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup softened butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, and 1 cup packed brown sugar until light and fluffy.
03 - Beat in 2 large eggs one at a time, then add 1 tsp vanilla extract. Mix well.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together 3 1/2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp salt.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips.
06 - Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Top each cookie with 1/2 cup Halloween sprinkles.
07 - Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
