Cheesecake Danish (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 12-pack King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls.
02 - 1/3 cup Butter, melted.
03 - 2 tbsp Brown Sugar.
04 - 1/2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon.
05 - 1/8 tsp Freshly Grated Nutmeg.
06 - 8 oz Cream Cheese (room temperature).
07 - 3 tbsp Granulated Sugar.
08 - 1 Large Egg, beaten.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread 1 tablespoon of melted butter evenly in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - Place the Hawaiian rolls in the prepared baking dish. Using a knife, cut an 'X' into the top of each roll about 2/3 down, being careful not to cut through the bottom.
03 - In a small bowl or measuring cup, mix 1/3 cup melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to create the glaze. Pour the glaze evenly over the rolls.
04 - In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and beaten egg until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag or a zip-top bag with the corner cut off.
05 - Pipe the cream cheese mixture into the center of each roll, filling the 'X' cut made earlier.
06 - Bake the rolls uncovered for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cream cheese filling reaches 145°F.
07 - Let the rolls cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm for the best flavor and texture.

Notes:

01 - These King's Hawaiian Cheesecake Danishes are a perfect blend of sweet cream cheese and buttery Hawaiian rolls.
02 - The cinnamon-sugar glaze adds a warm, spiced sweetness to complement the creamy filling.
03 - Ideal for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet snack.
