Lemon Krispie Treats (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - Butter: 5 tablespoons, melted, for richness and to bind the ingredients together.
02 - Lemon Meringue Marshmallows: 1 (8 ounce) package, for a zesty, lemony flavor and chewy texture.
03 - Crispy Cereal: 4 cups, providing the classic crunch.
04 - White Chocolate Chips: 1½ cups, divided, adding a creamy sweetness and used for dipping and drizzling.
05 - Yellow Jimmies/Sprinkles (optional): For decoration, adding a fun, colorful touch.

Instructions:

01 - In a microwavable bowl, melt the butter. Add the lemon marshmallows and microwave for another 45 seconds until melted.
02 - Stir the melted butter and marshmallows together. Add the crispy cereal to the mixture and stir until fully combined.
03 - Stir in half of the white chocolate chips. Some may melt, creating a delicious mix within the treats.
04 - Transfer the mixture to an 8x8 square baking dish and set aside to cool.
05 - Melt the remaining white chocolate chips using the double boiler method. Place a heat-safe bowl over a pot of simmering water without letting the bowl touch the water.
06 - Cut the treats into squares. Dip the bottom of each square into the melted white chocolate and place on wax paper. Drizzle the remaining white chocolate on top and sprinkle with yellow jimmies, if desired.
