Oreo Cupcake Delight (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
02 - ½ cup cocoa powder.
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
04 - ½ teaspoon baking soda.
05 - ¼ teaspoon salt.
06 - ½ cup unsalted butter, softened.
07 - 1 cup sugar.
08 - 2 large eggs.
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
10 - ½ cup milk.
11 - 12 Oreo cookies, halved.
12 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (for frosting).
13 - 3 cups powdered sugar (for frosting).
14 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting).
15 - 2 tablespoons heavy cream (for frosting).
16 - 6 crushed Oreos (for frosting).

Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with cupcake liners.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
03 - In another large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
04 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until smooth and well combined.
05 - Place an Oreo cookie half at the bottom of each cupcake liner (cream side up if desired). Fill each liner with the prepared batter about two-thirds full.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
07 - For the frosting, beat the softened butter until creamy and smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until well combined and fluffy.
08 - Add the vanilla extract and heavy cream, and beat until soft and fluffy. Gently stir in the crushed Oreos.
09 - Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, frost them generously and top each one with an Oreo half.

01 - Tip: Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting to avoid the frosting melting.
