Pumpkin Rice Krispie Treats (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal.
02 - 1 cup mini marshmallows.
03 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter.
04 - 1/2 cup pumpkin puree.
05 - 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice.
06 - 1/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional).
07 - 1/2 cup candy corn (optional, for topping).
08 - Sprinkles for decoration (optional).

Instructions:

01 - Melt the butter over low heat in a large pot.
02 - Once the butter is melted, add mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
03 - Add pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice to the melted marshmallow mixture, stirring until fully combined.
04 - Remove the pot from the heat and quickly stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until all the cereal is coated.
05 - If using, gently fold in the white chocolate chips for added sweetness.
06 - Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Transfer the Rice Krispie mixture into the dish, pressing it down evenly with a spatula.
07 - Let the treats cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes until set.
08 - Once cooled, cut into squares. Top with candy corn and sprinkles for decoration, if desired.

Notes:

01 - Optional toppings include candy corn and sprinkles.
02 - Adding white chocolate chips will enhance sweetness.
03 - These treats are best served at room temperature.
