French Dip Sliders (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 12 slider rolls (King’s Hawaiian recommended).
02 - 1/4 cup mayonnaise.
03 - 1 tbsp cream-style horseradish.
04 - 1/2 lb provolone or Swiss cheese (sliced).
05 - 1/2 lb deli roast beef (thinly sliced).
06 - 1/2 cup caramelized onions.
07 - 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted).
08 - 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
09 - 1/2 tsp onion powder.
10 - 1/4 tsp garlic powder.
11 - 1/2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, plus extra for garnish).
12 - 2 cups beef broth or stock (for jus).
13 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter (for jus).
14 - 1 clove garlic (minced, for jus).
15 - 1.5 tbsp all-purpose flour (optional, for jus).
16 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (for jus).
17 - 1-2 tsp roasted beef base (optional, for jus).
18 - 1 tsp fresh thyme (or 1/4 tsp dried, for jus).
19 - Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste (for jus).

Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
02 - Slice slider rolls horizontally into tops and bottoms. Broil cut sides for 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted.
03 - Spread half the mayo-horseradish mix on the roll bottoms. Place toasted bottoms in the greased baking dish.
04 - Layer half the cheese, all roast beef, caramelized onions, and the remaining cheese over the roll bottoms.
05 - Spread the remaining mayo-horseradish mix on the roll tops and place them over the filling.
06 - Mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush generously over the rolls.
07 - Cover sliders with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 5-8 minutes more until golden.
08 - To prepare the jus, sauté minced garlic in melted butter. Stir in flour if using and cook briefly.
09 - Gradually whisk in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and beef base if needed. Simmer for 10 minutes, season to taste, and strain for a smooth dip.
10 - Slice sliders, garnish with parsley, and serve warm with jus for dipping.
