Snickers Brownies (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 (15.25 oz) box German chocolate cake mix.
02 - 12 oz evaporated milk, divided.
03 - ½ cup salted butter, melted.
04 - 11 oz unwrapped caramels.
05 - 2 cups Snickers minis, chopped.
06 - 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips.
07 - ¾ cup chopped pecans.
08 - 2¼ cups milk chocolate chips.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a bowl, mix the German chocolate cake mix, ½ cup evaporated milk, and melted butter until well combined. Spread ⅔ of the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 6 minutes.
03 - In a saucepan, melt the caramels with ⅓ cup evaporated milk over low heat, stirring until smooth.
04 - Sprinkle chopped Snickers, semisweet chocolate chips, and chopped pecans over the partially baked brownie base. Drizzle the melted caramel evenly over the top.
05 - Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter over the caramel layer, spreading gently. Bake for an additional 15-17 minutes. Allow brownies to cool completely.
06 - Melt the milk chocolate chips with the remaining evaporated milk until smooth. Spread this chocolate ganache over the cooled brownies. Let set before cutting into squares.
