Strawberry Glaze Cookies (Print Version)
Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened.

1 cup sugar.

2 large eggs.

2 tsp vanilla extract.

3 cups all-purpose flour.

1 tsp baking powder.

½ tsp salt.

½ cup strawberry jam.

1 cup powdered sugar.

2 tbsp strawberry jam.

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until smooth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.

Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, pressing each one down slightly to flatten. Place a small dot of strawberry jam in the center of each cookie.

Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely on a wire rack.

For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, strawberry jam, and milk until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies for a sweet finish.
Notes:

Let the cookies cool completely before glazing to prevent the glaze from melting.

You can adjust the consistency of the glaze by adding more milk for a thinner drizzle or more powdered sugar for a thicker glaze.
