Sweet Potato Hand Pies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 medium sweet potatoes.
02 - ½ cup brown sugar.
03 - 1 tsp cinnamon.
04 - ½ tsp nutmeg.
05 - ½ tsp vanilla extract.
06 - 2 tbsp butter, melted.
07 - ¼ cup heavy cream.
08 - 1 package pie crusts.
09 - 1 egg.
10 - 1 cup powdered sugar.
11 - 2-3 tbsp milk.
12 - ½ tsp vanilla extract.

# Instructions:

01 - Cook sweet potatoes until tender, peel, and mash.
02 - Mix in sugar, spices, vanilla, butter, and cream.
03 - Roll dough and cut into 4-5 inch circles.
04 - Place filling on one half of the dough circles.
05 - Fold the dough and seal with a fork.
06 - Brush the pies with egg wash.
07 - Bake at 375°F for 18-22 minutes.
08 - Optional: Apply glaze when cool.
