Vegan Rice Krispie Treats (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - ¼ cup vegan butter.
02 - 3 cups vegan marshmallows (plus 1 cup reserved).
03 - 7 cups cocoa rice cereal.
04 - ¼ cup vegan chocolate chips.

Instructions:

01 - Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan with non-stick spray or vegan butter. Set aside.
02 - In a large pot, melt the vegan butter over medium-low heat. Add 3 cups of vegan marshmallows and melt, stirring constantly for 5-7 minutes.
03 - Once the marshmallows are fully melted, add the cocoa rice cereal and mix until well combined.
04 - Stir in the reserved 1 cup of marshmallows for extra gooeyness.
05 - Press the Rice Krispie mixture into the prepared baking pan and let it cool slightly.
06 - Melt the vegan chocolate chips and drizzle the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispie treats.
07 - Once the treats have cooled and set, cut into squares and enjoy.

Notes:

01 - These treats are vegan and feature a fun hot cocoa twist.
02 - The extra marshmallows create a gooey texture, while the melted chocolate adds richness.
