In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix until well incorporated. Gently fold in whipped cream until fluffy and combined.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar, stirring until it dissolves. Add banana slices and cook for 2-3 minutes, gently stirring to coat in the sauce. If using rum, add it carefully and cook for another minute. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Layer the cheesecake mixture over the crust in each cup. Add a generous spoonful of the banana foster topping over the cheesecake layer.

Chill the cups in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
