Bang Bang Chicken Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 pounds thin sliced chicken breasts.
02 - Kosher salt to taste.
03 - Black pepper to taste.
04 - Garlic powder to taste.
05 - 1/2 cup flour.
06 - 1/4 cup cornstarch.
07 - 1 cup buttermilk.
08 - 1 tablespoon hot sauce.
09 - 1 large egg.
10 - 2 cups panko bread crumbs.
11 - Vegetable or canola oil for frying.
12 - 12 slices mozzarella cheese.
13 - 12 slider rolls.

# Instructions:

01 - Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
02 - Set up three bowls: flour/cornstarch mix, buttermilk/hot sauce/egg mix, and bread crumbs.
03 - Dredge chicken in flour, then buttermilk mixture, then bread crumbs. Press crumbs to coat well.
04 - Fry breaded chicken in oil over medium heat until golden brown, working in batches.
05 - Cut chicken into slider-sized pieces, place on buns with mozzarella and bang bang sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Can keep warm in 325°F oven for up to an hour.
02 - Serve bang bang sauce at room temperature.
03 - Can make ahead and reheat in oven.
