04 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
05 - 1 teaspoon paprika
06 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
07 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
09 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic
10 - 1 cup marinara sauce
11 - 1/4 cup chopped pepperoni (plus more for topping)

→ For the Bisquick Mixture

12 - 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
13 - 2 eggs
14 - 3/4 cup milk

→ For Assembly

15 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
16 - Cooking spray

# Instructions:

01 - Brown the ground beef with the diced onion in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add all the seasonings - salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and crushed red pepper flakes.
02 - Once the beef is browned, add the chopped pepperoni and let it cook for a few minutes. Drain off any excess grease from the pan. Add the marinara sauce and minced garlic, stir well, then take the skillet off the heat.
03 - In a bowl, whisk together the Bisquick, milk, and eggs until smooth.
04 - Spray a pie pan with cooking spray. Layer half of the ground beef mixture in the bottom, then top with 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella. Add the rest of the ground beef on top, then the remaining 1 cup of cheese.
05 - Pour the Bisquick mixture evenly over the top of the ground beef and cheese layers. Top with additional pepperoni slices.
06 - Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes until the top is golden brown and set.
07 - Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy this fun twist on pizza!

# Notes:

01 - This is called an 'impossible pie' because the Bisquick mixture magically forms a crust as it bakes!
02 - Make sure to drain the grease well so the pie isn't too oily.
03 - You can customize the toppings - add mushrooms, bell peppers, or any pizza toppings you like.
04 - Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat well.
