Chicken Sloppy Joes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
02 - 1 tablespoon butter.
03 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped.
04 - 1 celery stalk, finely chopped.
05 - 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped.
06 - 1 pound ground chicken.
07 - 3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning.
08 - 3 garlic cloves, minced.
09 - 1/2 cup crushed tomatoes.
10 - 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar.
11 - 1/2-1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional).
12 - 1/2 cup heavy cream.
13 - 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste.
14 - 4 burger buns.
15 - Sliced cheese (optional topping).
16 - Coleslaw (optional topping).
17 - Sour cream (optional topping).
18 - Shredded lettuce (optional topping).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
02 - Cook onion, celery, and bell pepper for 7-8 minutes until soft.
03 - Add ground chicken, break it up while cooking for 5 minutes.
04 - Mix in Cajun seasoning and garlic.
05 - Cook for another minute.
06 - Pour in tomatoes, brown sugar, hot sauce, and cream.
07 - Mix everything well and lower the heat.
08 - Cook for 15 minutes, stirring often.
09 - Add salt to taste.
10 - Serve on toasted buns with your choice of toppings.
