01 -
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
02 -
Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the dough into 12 equal squares, approximately 3x3 inches each.
03 -
Place about 1 teaspoon of marinara sauce in the center of each dough square. Top with a pinch of chopped pepperoni (about 2 teaspoons) and a generous tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese.
04 -
Carefully fold the edges of each dough square up and over the fillings, pinching and sealing the edges together to form a ball. Make sure to seal completely to prevent leaking during baking.
05 -
Place each pizza bomb seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
06 -
Brush the tops of each pizza bomb with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, grated Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes if using.
07 -
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the pizza bombs are golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
08 -
Remove from the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, and serve warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
