Chicken Pepperoni Pizza Melts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Filling

01 - 3 frozen chicken burger patties (Great Value or similar)
02 - 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - ½ cup pizza sauce
04 - 18 pepperoni slices

→ For the Wraps

05 - 3 large protein tortilla wraps (or regular large tortillas)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the frozen chicken patties and cook for about 6 minutes on one side. Flip them over and keep cooking until they reach an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees.
02 - Take the cooked chicken patties out of the skillet and put them on a cutting board. Slice each patty into 6 strips.
03 - Lay out your 3 tortillas. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella down the center of each tortilla, dividing it evenly between them.
04 - Place 6 strips of sliced chicken on top of the cheese on each tortilla.
05 - Spoon some pizza sauce over the chicken on each tortilla. Then add 6 pepperoni slices on top of the sauce for each wrap.
06 - Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni on each tortilla.
07 - Fold the sides of each tortilla up and over the filling to make a wrap, covering everything inside.
08 - Heat a clean large skillet over medium-low heat. Place the wraps seam side down in the skillet so they stay closed.
09 - Cook the wraps until they're nicely browned on the bottom, about 5 minutes. Flip them over and cook the other side until it's browned too, another 5 minutes or so. The cheese inside should be melted and gooey.
10 - Move the wraps to a cutting board and slice them in half if you want. Serve hot and enjoy your pizza melts.

01 - Using frozen chicken burger patties makes this super quick and easy.
02 - Protein tortillas boost the protein content, but any large tortillas work fine.
03 - Make sure to cook seam side down first so the wraps stay closed while cooking.
04 - Don't rush the toasting - medium-low heat ensures crispy tortillas without burning.
05 - You can use grilled chicken breast strips or rotisserie chicken instead of the patties.
06 - These are great for meal prep - just reheat in a skillet or oven to crisp them back up.
