Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup salted butter
02 - 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
03 - 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
04 - 1 cup creamy peanut butter
05 - 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

# Instructions:

01 - Line an 8x8 baking dish with foil or parchment paper and leave some overhang on the sides to make it easier to lift the bars from pan.
02 - In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. To the melted butter, add the powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs, and peanut butter. Mix until well combined.
03 - Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom of the pan, pressing down firmly to create a smooth, even layer.
04 - In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
05 - Carefully spread the melted chocolate evenly over the peanut butter layer with an offset spatula.
06 - Refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.
07 - Remove the bars from the pan using the overhanging foil/parchment and carefully slice into 16 bars. Serve and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - These bars taste just like peanut butter cups but in an easy-to-make bar form.
02 - For cleaner cuts, run your knife under hot water, dry it, then slice. Repeat for each cut.
03 - Store bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 2 months.
