Italian Drunken Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 ounces pappardelle or wide fettuccine.
02 - 1 pound spicy Italian sausage.
03 - 1 medium onion, sliced.
04 - 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes.
05 - 1/2 cup white wine.
06 - 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced.
07 - 1 red bell pepper, sliced.
08 - 3 cloves garlic, minced.
09 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
10 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes.
11 - 3 teaspoons parsley flakes.
12 - 1/4 cup basil leaves, sliced.
13 - Olive oil as needed.

# Instructions:

01 - Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Heat oil and brown sausage in skillet. Remove and set aside.
03 - Sauté onion, peppers, garlic with seasonings until softened.
04 - Add wine, reduce slightly. Add tomatoes and sausage, simmer 5 minutes.
05 - Stir in herbs and pasta. Toss to combine.
