Easter Popcorn Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Popcorn Balls

01 - 8 cups popped popcorn
02 - 6 Peeps marshmallows (any color/flavor), cut into small pieces
03 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
04 - 1 bag (10 ounces) mini marshmallows
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Optional Decorations

06 - Easter-themed sprinkles
07 - Edible glitter
08 - Small Easter candies

# Instructions:

01 - Place the popped popcorn in a large mixing bowl. Carefully remove any unpopped kernels to prevent unwanted surprises when eating.
02 - Cut the Peeps marshmallows into smaller pieces. This will help them melt more evenly and incorporate their colorful sweetness throughout the mixture.
03 - In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and Peeps pieces, stirring constantly until fully melted and smooth. You'll notice the mixture taking on the color of the Peeps.
04 - Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, which adds a deeper flavor dimension to the sweet mixture.
05 - Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the popcorn. Using a spatula or lightly greased hands, gently toss and coat the popcorn evenly. Be careful not to crush the popcorn as you mix.
06 - Lightly grease your hands with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking. Scoop out portions of the coated popcorn and press them firmly into balls, about 3–4 inches in diameter.
07 - If desired, roll the still-sticky popcorn balls in sprinkles, edible glitter, or gently press small candies onto their surface for extra Easter flair.
08 - Place the shaped popcorn balls on a sheet of parchment paper or a greased baking sheet. Allow them to cool and set for 15–20 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days
02 - Using different colored Peeps will result in different colored popcorn balls
03 - For easier handling, you can let the mixture cool slightly before shaping
04 - Great for Easter baskets or holiday party treats
