Sloppy Joe Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - ½ small onion, diced
03 - 2 cans (24 oz each) Manwich sloppy joe sauce
04 - 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
05 - 1 pound corkscrew pasta, cooked
06 - 1 cup hand-shredded Colby Jack cheese
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 350 degrees.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion until the meat is fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
03 - Add both cans of Manwich sauce and the cubed Velveeta to the skillet. Stir until the Velveeta melts completely and the sauce is smooth.
04 - Add the cooked pasta directly to the skillet and toss everything together until evenly coated.
05 - Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the Colby Jack cheese evenly over the top.
06 - Place on the center rack of the oven and bake for 15 minutes, or just until the cheese is fully melted.
07 - Let the casserole sit for 2 to 4 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if you like and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - Using canned sloppy joe sauce makes this super quick and easy
02 - Velveeta melts smoothly and makes the sauce extra creamy
03 - Hand-shredded cheese melts better than pre-shredded
04 - This is a kid-friendly weeknight dinner
05 - Leftovers reheat well for lunch the next day
