Frozen Banana Yogurt Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 large ripe banana
02 - 150 g yogurt of your choice (natural yogurt works well)
03 - Handful of dried banana chips (optional, for topping)

# Instructions:

01 - Lay out approximately 12 cupcake cases or silicone muffin cups on a small baking sheet or tray that will fit in your freezer.
02 - Peel the banana and place it on a plate. Mash it with a fork until most of the lumps have gone. Young children might find this easier to do with a potato masher.
03 - Tip the mashed banana into a bowl and add the yogurt. Whisk together until well combined.
04 - Using a spoon, dollop some yogurt and banana mixture into the bottom of each cake case until all the mixture has been used.
05 - Top with banana chips if desired. You can use whole chips or broken pieces – both look great!
06 - Place the cups (still on the baking tray) into the freezer and leave to freeze for a couple of hours until set solid.
07 - Once frozen through, remove from the cases and serve. You can also bag them up and put them straight back in the freezer to eat later.

# Notes:

01 - These frozen bites will keep in the freezer for up to 1 month in an airtight container.
02 - For a fun variation, try using different flavored yogurts or adding a drop of food coloring.
03 - Let them sit at room temperature for 2-3 minutes before eating for a softer texture.
