Greek Lemon Rice (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup long grain rice.
02 - 2 tablespoons butter.
03 - 2 cups chicken broth.
04 - 1/3 cup lemon juice.
05 - 1 teaspoon salt.
06 - 1 teaspoon turmeric.
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh herbs.

# Instructions:

01 - Rinse rice in strainer.
02 - Melt butter, stir in rice and turmeric.
03 - Add broth, lemon, salt. Simmer covered 20-25 minutes.
04 - Fluff with fork, add herbs if using.

# Notes:

01 - Can use basmati rice.
02 - Keeps 5 days refrigerated.
