# Ingredients:

→ For the Shrimp and Pasta

01 - 1 lb large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - 12 oz linguine
03 - 1 tablespoon avocado oil
04 - 1 tablespoon salted butter
05 - 12 oz cherry tomatoes, halved
06 - 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
07 - 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
08 - 3 cups chicken broth
09 - 1 cup heavy cream or half and half
10 - 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
11 - 4 to 5 fresh basil leaves, divided
12 - 1 to 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped
13 - Juice of 1 lemon

→ For the Seasonings

14 - 1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama seasoning
15 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
16 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
17 - 1/2 tablespoon Herbs de Provence (or use Italian seasoning)
18 - 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
19 - 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Season the shrimp with Slap Ya Mama seasoning, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
02 - Heat the avocado oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the shrimp for 1 to 2 minutes per side until they turn pink. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, add the linguine, cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, sliced garlic, and 2 to 3 of the basil leaves. Season with herbs de Provence and red pepper flakes.
04 - Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a light boil. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring frequently, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
05 - Reduce the heat and stir in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
06 - Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet along with the lemon juice, chopped parsley, and the remaining basil leaves (chopped). Toss everything together and serve hot!

# Notes:

01 - Slap Ya Mama is a Cajun seasoning blend - if you can't find it, use any Cajun or Creole seasoning.
02 - Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest, creamiest sauce.
03 - Stir the pasta frequently while it cooks to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
04 - The lemon juice at the end brightens up all the flavors - don't skip it!
05 - This comes together in one pot, which means less cleanup - perfect for busy weeknights!
