Orange Creamsicle Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
02 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
03 - 1/3 cup granulated sugar

→ For The Orange Filling

04 - 1 box (2 oz) orange Jell-O gelatin
05 - 12 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
06 - 1 orange, peeled
07 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
08 - 1/4 cup orange juice
09 - 2 tbsp orange zest
10 - 12 oz Cool Whip
11 - 1 can (approximately 14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

→ For The Toppings

12 - Heavy whipping cream
13 - Orange slices
14 - Orange zest

# Instructions:

01 - Add the graham cracker crumbs to a food processor and process until fine. Transfer the crumbs to a mixing bowl, add the melted butter and sugar, and mix until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
02 - Add the orange slices, orange zest, vanilla extract, and orange juice to a food processor. Puree until smooth. Set aside.
03 - In a stand mixer, combine 8 ounces of cream cheese and the orange Jell-O mix. Beat until smooth.
04 - Fold in the sweetened condensed milk and 8 ounces of Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture.
05 - Beat the orange puree mixture into the filling until well blended.
06 - Pour the creamsicle filling into the prepared pie crust. Smooth the top with a small offset spatula.
07 - Place the pie into the freezer and let it set and chill for about 3 hours, or preferably overnight.
08 - Serve the pie chilled with additional whipped cream, orange slices, and orange zest for garnish.

# Notes:

01 - Freezing overnight will yield the best texture for this pie.
