→ For Serving

06 - Butter
07 - Extra syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 400 degrees. Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up into small crumbles as it cooks. Once it's fully cooked, drain off the grease and set the sausage aside.
02 - Mix up the pancake batter following the directions on the Krusteaz box. This usually means adding eggs, milk, and a little oil to the mix.
03 - Stir the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and quarter cup of syrup into the pancake batter. Mix everything together really well so the sausage and cheese are evenly distributed.
04 - Spray a large sheet pan (like a half sheet or jelly roll pan) generously with cooking spray.
05 - Pour the pancake batter onto the prepared sheet pan and spread it out evenly so it reaches all the corners. Bake at 400 degrees for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until the pancakes are golden brown and cooked through. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
06 - Cut the sheet pan pancakes into squares. Top with a pat of butter and drizzle with syrup. Serve hot and enjoy your easy breakfast.

# Notes:

01 - This is perfect for feeding a crowd - everyone gets pancakes at the same time instead of standing at the stove making them one by one.
02 - The syrup mixed into the batter adds sweetness throughout, not just on top.
03 - Any pancake mix works, but Krusteaz is a popular brand that's easy to find.
04 - You can use turkey sausage, chicken sausage, or even crumbled bacon instead of pork sausage.
05 - Make sure to drain the sausage grease well or the pancakes will be oily.
06 - These are great for meal prep - cut into squares and freeze for quick breakfasts during the week.
07 - Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat well in the microwave.
